We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative video producer and editor who will create the video testimonials of our clients. This is a part-time / freelance remote position.
Job Overview
This role will involve the full process of video production needed for our marketing campaigns. As a Video Producer, you will be in charged for
- Overseeing, creating and managing the production of a video.
- Planning and organizing the shoots
- Editing the video to its final form
**Note that the video shoot will be done remotely using video conferencing apps like Zoom hence creativity and resourcefulness is a must.
The major responsibilities for this role are:
• To confirm and schedule the shoot with clients and customers doing the testimonial
• To create the storyboard
• To write the script
• To direct the video
• To edit the video to its final form, highlighting our services
Other responsibilities include:
• Understanding the requirements of the video testimonial
• Planning the concepts and stories for video production
• Describing and finding the venues for the shoot
• Preparing the production schedules
• Selecting and directing clients to get the right lighting, audio and camera angle for the video shoot
• Creating the static and motion graphics
• Collaborating work with the other members of the company
• Reviewing the final video and editing it as per requirement
• Supervising the direction, voice-over, photographs, and other elements in the video-making process
• Documenting a proper records of all company production and content
• Providing orientation and support to everyone involved in the video production
• Adhering to the rules and regulations of the company
Qualifications / Requirements:
• Recent work portfolio with references
• Proficient in various video editing tools
• Know how to work with chroma key and green screens, light adjustments, color grading, graphics, and other video production elements
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (US)
• At least 2 years of experience as a video producer or a similar position in the media or advertising industry.
• Experienced knowledge of production processes and technologies
• Possess the ability to work with a team and individually
• Sound knowledge in lighting and audio
• Exceptional problem-solving and time management skills
• A sharp eye for detail.
